At AWS, he improved availability and performance of etcd clusters for Amazon EKS and worked on scaling Aurora MySQL to thousands of nodes in Amazon RDS. He’s also a significant open-source contributor, having developed projects like Rain, a BitTorrent client in Go, and Backoff, an exponential backoff algorithm library.
